Lori's Natural Birth

When I first met with Lori and Berto, I was thrilled to find out that Lori was planning a natural birth. I too had a natural birth, at a birth center (Bay Area Birth Center) and I had been dying to book a client exactly like her!

Berto had a ton of very specific questions for me..."What lenses do you use?", "Will you shoot at a high ISO or use a flash?", "Will you have a backup photographer?". I was perplexed, how did he know so much about all of this?!

When Lori told me they had decided to hire me, she also revealed that they too had a photography business! (Check it out!) That made this booking all the more flattering ;)

Being present for Mateo's birth was absolutely wonderful. Something so intimate and powerful can't really be put into words. Lori was so positive throughout the entire experience through her exhaustion and Berto was an amazingly supportive birth partner.

Tanja + Jeff's Winfrey Point Wedding

I'm part of an amazing community of what we call "crunchy moms". Moms who typically have a core "naturally" minded way about parenting. Tanja was referred to me by one of my crunchy connections!

When we first spoke, I knew we were a match made in heaven. She told me extensively about secret details planned throughout the wedding and made sure I knew their emotional importance. She was more organized than any client I've ever worked with (she's a teacher, hard to believe, right?). And when she told me she'd be dancing and singing down the isle to Jeff, I knew I had stumbled onto something special.

These two have a love that is palpable. You can see it in every.single.picture!

Moselle and David's Baby Shower

Moselle and I have known each other since high school. We won't talk about the fact that was over 10 years ago...BUT, I was thrilled when she asked if I was available to shoot her baby shower. Do you guys know how many cute babies attend baby showers?! 

Her parent's home in Seabrook is breathtaking. I thought I was lost when I arrived, seriously. They had every food laid out that someone could ever want: cheese, sausage, candy, fruit, fried chicken, potato salad, pasta, salad and champagne! I definitely didn't leave hungry. 

Between the hospitality provided by Moselle's parents, husband and friends, I felt right at home. I couldn't have had a better time! 

Congratulations you two! Can't wait to meet Margot !
