Rebecca + Brandon {Backyard Wedding}

When I was asked by another photographer to be a part of her good friend's backyard wedding, I immediately jumped at the opportunity. The bigger weddings definitely have their perks but the intimate ones always tend to be a blast!  

Rebecca and Brandon's smaller wedding had perfect little details. From their handmade altar to the rustic details, everything matched seamlessly. 

The ceremony was just one event in a long night of friends and family spending quality time together with no fuss involved. The laid back atmosphere led to more of a party than a formal reception.

Maddison's Lifestyle Newborn

I had the privilege of photographing this family before they became a party of 4 at Hermann Park a couple of months ago. (See their maternity session HERE) 

Typically, with new parents, I ask if they feel comfortable doing newborns at their home. It's usually perfect! It's got lovely personal details, it's convenient for newly post partum mommas, and it helps me capture the family in their natural environment. Anyone who knows my work knows that I'm all about candids! 

I couldn't be happier with how these images turned out! While it's nearly impossible to be too posey with a toddler and a newborn, you'll see below how overjoyed Ita, Alexa and Jessie are to welcome their new addition to the family.
