Declan {First Birthday}

Okay, I'll admit it. We woke up EARLY to do this session. I wanted that gorgeous sunrise light and we got it! 

That being said, it was COLD! Houston isn't the kind of place you ever really imagine getting chilly, but it was a pretty brisk morning. 

Declan made this cold morning super warm. His smile was infectious and ADORABLE. A good portion of the favorites shots I got of him are in his daddy's arms, total daddy's boy! 

Usually, I can get any baby to laugh. Its one of my talents :) For this shoot though, I have to give most of the props to mom and dad. 

Mom even brought some homemade props! 

I absolutely LOVE that she brought Declan's birth picture with her. Such a beautiful reminder of how much our babies grow in such a short amount of time! 

And last but not least, one more for the Texans fans...!

Tram + Bobby {Engaged}

I had the pleasure of meeting Tram and Bobby at the busiest park in Houston, Hermann Park. I was convinced we wouldn't get a single shot without another person in it, I was wrong. 

I LOVE the way these images came out. The three of us talked the ENTIRE session about everything from how they met, to the Walking Dead. 

They were open to every suggestion I had and I think it shows! Congratulations, you guys! 

Finger paints {Personal}

Toddlers are hard. I'm sure anyone who has one, or has had one, knows this. Our daughter gets bored quickly! So, we decided to try something new. And it was just too colorful and cute not to document! 

Did I mention we have another, furrier child? He's pretty moody at times as well...
